The Writing and Rhetoric Program at UVA offers a wide range of first-year writing courses and upper-level courses in writing and rhetoric as well as a minor in Public Writing and Rhetoric.

The first and second writing requirements including applying and placement for incoming students.

Beginning in Spring 2023, the Writing and Rhetoric program in the Department of English will offer a Minor in Public Writing and Rhetoric.
